Project Win | LAHC Units at South Kempsey

Following Lahey Construction’s recent contract award by the NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC), work is now underway on a new housing renewal project to provide modern, fit-for-purpose homes for local seniors who may be at risk of homelessness.

The development will deliver six one-bedroom social homes in a two-storey residential complex at 59 Middleton Street, South Kempsey, and is part of the NSW Government’s investment to deliver more and better social housing throughout regional NSW.

Minister for Water, Property and Housing, Melinda Pavey said the dwellings were designed to the highest standard to make a positive contribution to the streetscape and help reframe South Kempsey with contemporary new housing, while supporting the needs of seniors looking for long-term accommodation.
