The NSW Premier, Mike Baird, returned to Harbord Public School for a second site visit on Wednesday 7th December. The Premier addressed the school during a special assembly on the morning and completed his visit with a tour of the new facility. Our education team continue to work hard fitting out the new facility and preparing for the external works. The new section of the school which includes 18 Homebase classrooms, open space activity areas, two storey library and Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA) will be ready for when the staff and students return in Term 1 2017.

Special thanks go to the NSW Premier, Mike Baird for taking the time out of his hectic schedule to tour the site, the Principal, Craig Davis, and key staff member of Harbord Public school for their unwavering support and continued cooperation throughout the duration of the works and the team at Root Projects who continue to work closely with our team to assist in the overall delivery of the project.

We would like also thank the team at the DEC for their ongoing support on such an important project for the area.

Looking forward to the Grand Opening in the new year!

Merry Christmas and all the best for 2017 from Lahey Constructions!
