Yesterday Lahey Constructions hosted a Cupcake Day at its RSPCA project site in Yagoona. The charity event was held to raise funds for the RSPCA to provide animals with shelter, medical treatment, safety and security they simply can’t find anywhere else. It was an extremely successful morning, with plenty of yummy treats! When we raise money for Cupcake Day, we are giving animals the gift of time, care, patience and resources. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Lahey Constructions’ Senior Management and Best Practice teams worked together to implement new policies and procedures that ensured safe practices in our offices and on our job sites. Lahey has prioritised the safety of our workers, scheduling extra cleaning, providing hand sanitiser stations, as well as enforcing strict social distancing in offices, meeting rooms, and meal areas.
