Lahey Constructions Christmas Fundraiser

This Christmas, Lahey Constructions raised donations to The Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation. With the help of our staff and valued subcontractors, we achieved our target which was to raise enough funds for SCHF to purchase two ‘Pulse Oximeter’ machines, which are urgently needed in the Sleep Ward.

A Pulse Oximeter is a machine that is used to measure the oxygen level in blood, particularly how well oxygen is being sent to different parts of a child’s body that is far away from their heart, such as their arms and legs.

These machines will help SCH identify which children need to be prioritised in an upcoming sleep study, which has an extensive waiting list. The machines offer a simple and pain free way to screen babies and children from potentially life-threatening sleep conditions.

Special thanks to the team at Harvey Norman generously donating several gifts which were used to raise funds in our auction at the Christmas Party.

Lahey would like to send a very big thank you to our staff, Harvey Norman, Synergy Scaffolding Services, Ashmor Plumbing, KLN Electrical, Moore Stephens, Out There Constructions, HWL Ebsworth and Terranasa / Tiletecnics for their generous and kind donations.
