NAIDOC Week celebrates the richness and diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and culture. It’s a week where all Australians can celebrate, learn and grow together.
The theme this year is ‘Heal Country’. To do this, we all need to embrace the cultural knowledge of First Nations people and understanding of country as more than just a place.
The team at Lahey Constructions acknowledges the land on which we live, meet and work. From our head office on Dunghutti land in Kempsey and our Sydney office on Gadigal land at Pyrmont, to our worksites across Gumbaynggirr, Birpai, Wanaruah, Kamilaroi, Darug and Eora Nations, we acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land and recognise their continued connection.
Lahey pays its respects to Elders, past, present and emerging, and the contribution they make to the life of these regions, and to all descendants who continue to live on Country.
To truly heal country, we all have more to do. Find out more at https://lnkd.in/dG-hGyb
