New Developments at Green Square, Zetland

Lahey Constructions’ site team were excited to take part in the ‘Ground Breaking ceremony at the new Green Square Creative Hub, the former South Sydney Hospital site at Zetland. Lord Mayor Clover Moore, along with Design Consultants and Stakeholders, joined us at the ground breaking ceremony on 27 April 2016 to mark the beginning of the works.

This exciting project will see the former heritage-listed hospital buildings refurbished into a creative hub that includes artists’ studios, workshops, classrooms, gallery spaces, workshops and public facilities for hire. The architectural designs of the buildings not only amplifies the characteristics of the heritage structure, but will also provide a seamless transition from building to the open space.
