Contract Award | Singleton Rugby Grandstand
Lahey Constructions has cemented its reputation within the Singleton region, having this month secured the contract to deliver the
Singleton Rugby Club‘s new Western Grandstand.
The grandstand is Lahey’s third consecutive project in the area, following on from the recently completed Animal Management Facility and work-in-progress Singleton Arts and Cultural Centre, both delivered for
Singleton Council.
Funded by multiple NSW Government grants, the new covered grandstand facility will provide the popular Rugby Union Club with seating for 440 spectators, kiosk, change Rooms, gym area, toilet facilities, storeroom, and a training and rehabilitation room.
The project will provide significant benefits to the Club and local community, increasing the ground’s spectator and visitor capacity, as well as provide the opportunity to hold national, state, and regional championships and specialised training camps for all football codes – with obvious positive flow-on effects for local businesses and sponsorship.
The Lahey’s team is thrilled to continue its association with the area and looks forward to delivering a facility of which the region can be proud.
