CSU Awards Nomination | Think Brick Awards Top 40

The landscaping design for Charles Sturt University Port Macquarie Stage 2 has been shortlisted for the Bruce Mackenzie Landscape Award, with the project making the Top 40 of the Think Brick Awards 2021. Architecture BVN was commissioned to develop a masterplan for the new campus at Lake Innes, with Stages 2A and 2B successfully delivered by Lahey Constructions. The final campus will form three large courtyards of differing proportions and character, creating vital landscape areas and outdoor rooms to support the university community. AIB Professional Excellence in Building Award Win | Green Square Creative Centre

Lahey are thrilled to announce that the Green Square Creative Centre took away a win at the Australian Institute of Building (AIB) 2019 NSW Professional Excellence in Building Awards held on Friday night in the ‘Commercial Construction: $25 million to $50 million’ category. This now takes the total awards won for the Green Square Creative Centre up to seven. The project was an intricate and adaptive reuse of the existing nurses quarters and operating theatre at the former Royal South Sydney Hospital, which now includes artistic workshops, gallery spaces, community hire space, public amenities and creative offices. Lahey are proud to announce that the Green Square Creative Centre (GSCC) took away two (2) wins at the Master Builders Association (MBA) Excellence in Construction Awards recently in the ‘Restoration/Adaptive Re-use of an Historic Building, $5,000,001 – $30,000,000’, and ‘Best Use of Timber’ categories. Lahey were proud to support the 2018 AIB Awards held at Doltone House last Friday, thanks to all at the AIB for making the evening a memorable one! Our project ‘Harbord Public School – New Facilities’ picked up the High Commendation Award in the Category Commercial Construction $5M to $25M, well done to the team!
