Connecting for Men’s Health |

Today marks the first day of Men’s Health Week 2021. Lahey Constructions would like to honour the strengths and contributions of our male staff and encourage men to take a more active role in improving their mental health and their relationships – with family, friends, mates, colleagues, and communities.
The theme for Men’s Health Week is all about CONNECTING. It is evident in the construction industry that work can come first, and the hours can pull away from other important activities – like going to the doctors for regular check-ups, spending that extra time with our families, or simply catching up with mates.
For this reason, Lahey is encouraging all male staff to reconnect with an area of their lives they may be neglecting. This is a timely reminder, too, for everyone to check in on your colleagues and mates and help encourage each other to improve overall health and wellbeing.
Remember, if you are struggling and need help, there are many other services you can reach out to, including:
Lifeline Australia 13 11 14
Men’s line Australia 1300 78 99 78
Parents Beyond Breakup 1300 85 34 37
