Terrace Gardens Official Opening

Lahey’s Keith Manning and Mick Cardile were proud to attend the official opening of the Terrace Gardens Residential Aged Care facility in Palmerston, NT recently. Built by Lahey, the project involved a 32-bed extension to the existing facility including an expansion of the kitchen and central dining and lounge areas. We were thrilled to work with the teams at Blue Care, Hodgkison Architects and Australian Regional and Remote Community Services Ltd on this fantastic project. White Ribbon Day

Joynton Avenue Creative Precinct Completion

Congratulations to the Green Square project team on reaching a major milestone, completion of the new Joynton Avenue Creative Precinct. The former iconic South Sydney Hospital site has been transformed into a creative hub for the community to enjoy. The heritage listed Esme Cahill Building now known as the JACC (Joynton Avenue Creative Centre) building, was originally built in 1936 and used as nurse’s accommodation.  In succession of the detailed refurbishment works, this building is now home to community and art centre spaces.  As pictured, the building features 7 copper clad awnings that are internally lined with ‘Black Butt’ timber…

Christmas Fundraiser Buys New Trauma Beds!

Lahey’s aim for this Christmas fundraiser was to raise enough money for one new trauma bed for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick, the cost of each bed is around $7k. The hospital had identified the need to urgently replace 18 existing beds. Thanks to our amazing supply chain partners, contractors and generous staff we managed to raise a grand total of $23,279, enough money to fund the purchase of 3 new trauma beds!! Well done to all involved, you have made a big difference to the sick and injured children that are treated on a daily basis at the Sydney…

New Southern Highlands Police Station Tour

Lahey was proud to host a site tour of the new Southern Highlands Police Station on Wednesday 28th February, attendees included; The Honorable Troy Grant (NSW Minister for Police), The Honorable Jai Rowell MP (Member for Wollondilly), Cr Ken Halstead (Wingecarribee Shire Mayor), Gerard Stepien (General Manager Police Property Group), Mark de Fraga (Project Manager,BGIS),  Superintendent Christopher Schilt and Inspector John Klepczarek.
