Lahey’s Bid Director, Guy Tristramm (pictured), and Project Manager of our local ‘Salamander Bay Retirement Living Village’ project, Bernard Pociask, had the pleasure of attending last week’s Careers Day at the Tomaree High School in Salamander Bay.

The Careers Day gave us the opportunity to engage with the teachers and Year 10 students of Tomaree High School and promote careers in construction in both urban and regional areas.

At Lahey, we recognise that the industry we operate in is more than just construction and we want to leave legacies and instil pride within the communities we work in. Building strong relationships with our local communities at the earliest available opportunity is important to us. We look to involve the wider community through events such as the Tomaree High School Careers Day.

Thank you again to our wonderful host, Tomaree High School and Wendy Dupont (Careers Day Coordinator) for organising the day, we hope to see those students again one day working in the industry!
